• Who is Andrea

    Andrea graduated in classical guitar with full marks “cum laude” at the Conservatory Santa Cecilia in Rome in the class of M. Arturo Tallini.

    Master of Music in Performance with distinction in Maastricht Academy of Music in the class of M. Carlo Marchione.

    He attended a Master of Arts in Music Pädagogik in the Zürcher Hochschule der Künste (ZHDK) in Zurich in the class of M. Anders Miolin.

    He previously studied with Bruno Battisti D'Amario (Ennio Morricone's storic guitarist), Heiki Matlik (Estonian Academy of Music and theatre) and Cesare Di Giulio (Conservatorio "A Casella" - L'Aquila).


    He has also taken part at the following masterclasses: Oscar Ghiglia, Massimo Lonardi, Enea Leone, Bruno Battisti D’Amario, Elena Papandreou, Enrico Pieranunzi, Jesper Sviebaek, Miguel Angel Jimenez Arnaiz, Magnus Anderson, Rolf Lislevand, Duo Maccari-Pugliese, Sven Lundestad and Nuccio D’Angelo.


  • His rock soul

    Andrea studied electric and acoustic guitar at Saint Louis College of Music in Rome with Marco Manusso and also with Luca Chiaramonte.

    He deepened his understanding of various styles like rock, blues and jazz. His musical curiosity has led him to a thorough study of composition with the teacher Enrico Melozzi.


    A versatile musician, he is talented with all instruments from the guitar family (classic guitar, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, silent guitar). Andrea has been one of the founders of Picaroon's Spark, a rock band which has produced 2 LP's. With his lead he brought the band to the highest level of the italian rock scene, with his unique and virtuoso playing, embraced as well by important music critiques from leading magazines like “Chitarre”, “Guitar Club”, “Rockerilla”.

    Andrea has worked as a sessionman at Cinik Records in Rome playing backup tracks of great guitarists such as Dominic Miller, Ricky Portera.

    He has also taken part to various concerts as a support band  international artists like Bandabardò, Paola Turci, Michael Riessler, Ernesttico, Lisma Project, Manuel Orza, Toni Fidanza, Jenny B.

    Andrea  won the first prize and was awarded in several competitions, both as soloist or as a member of a guitar Duo.

  • Other Projects

    During the years Andrea participated to several projects, both classic and rock.

    Here there are some of the major projects in which Andrea has been or is currently involved.


    Che Duo (2018)

    CheDuo is a project who wants to bring together the different musical experiences of the argentinian flutist Marilina Mora and Andrea Recinelli. Music of Argentina, Classical, Jazz, Bossanova.



    Duo Braggio-­Recinelli (2013)

    This is a new guitar project duo formed by Francesco Braggio and Andrea Recinelli.

    The Duo plays music from A. Piazzolla, M. Castelnuovo Tedesco, F. Mompou, D. Scarlatti.


    Flattrio (2009)

    Flattrio is an acoustic ensemble formed by Sara d’Ippolito, Luca Petracca and Andrea Recinelli.

    The trio performed several concert in Italy and in Estonia between 2009 and 2010.



    Picaroon's Spark - Nightfeast in highfires wood (2007)

    Picaroon's Spark is a rock band from Teramo (Italy). The band recorded a CD in 2007 with VideoRadio
